Visit · Primary Location

Lake Orion,
Michigan.

Thera Performance Lab is on Broadway St. in the heart of downtown Lake Orion. At the intersection of M-24 (S. Lapeer Rd) and the Lake Orion lakefront. We’re central to the M-24 corridor, with direct access for active adults across northern Oakland and Lapeer Counties.

Our clinic is at 146 S. Broadway St., Suite 160, Lake Orion, MI 48362. On Broadway Street in the heart of downtown Lake Orion, steps from the lakefront and the historic shops and restaurants along Broadway and Flint Street. We chose the M-24 corridor deliberately: it’s the spine that connects active-adult populations from Oxford and Lapeer in the north to Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, and Pontiac in the south, with Clarkston and Independence Township a short drive west via Indianwood Rd or Sashabaw Rd. From any of those cities, the drive to Broadway Street is a single straightforward route.

Directions

How to reach us.

From the north, Oxford, Metamora, Lapeer

Take M-24 (S. Lapeer Rd) south. M-24 runs straight into downtown Lake Orion with no turns required. Once you cross into downtown, watch for Broadway Street on your left. Our clinic is at 146 S. Broadway, Suite 160. From Oxford, plan ~10 minutes; Metamora, ~15; Lapeer, ~30.

From the south, Auburn Hills, Pontiac, Rochester Hills

Take M-24 (S. Lapeer Rd) north into downtown Lake Orion. From Auburn Hills, Squirrel Rd north or I-75 to the M-24 exit are the fastest options (~12–15 minutes). From Rochester Hills, Adams Rd north is the simplest route (~15 minutes). Both routes drop you onto Broadway Street in the downtown core.

From the west, Clarkston, Independence Township

Take Sashabaw Rd or Baldwin Rd north to Indianwood Rd, then east into Lake Orion. Indianwood Rd connects directly into the M-24 corridor at the south edge of downtown. Plan ~15 minutes from Clarkston or Independence Township.

From I-75

Exit at Sashabaw Rd (Exit 91) or Baldwin Rd (Exit 84) and head north. Both routes connect to Indianwood Rd or Clarkston Rd into Lake Orion. From the M-24 corridor itself, you can also exit further north at the Lake Orion exit directly into downtown.

Parking & Arrival

Parking, no hunting.

Reserved client parking is available at the north end of our building. Look for the spaces marked “Robotic Rehab & Relief.” If those are taken (rare during weekday hours), Broadway Street parking runs the full block in front of the building, and the public Children’s Park lot is one block east off Front Street.

The building entrance is on Broadway Street, ground level, with Suite 160 directly inside. No stairs, no elevator navigation. Plan to arrive 5–10 minutes before your appointment for first-visit paperwork.

What to expect at your first visit

The 60-minute assessment.

Every first visit is a Complete Kinetic Chain Assessment. $99, 60 minutes, one-on-one with your therapist. We map how your full body moves: feet, hips, thoracic spine, shoulders, neck. We trace the compensation patterns that are loading wherever your pain or limitation lives, and we identify the upstream link that’s actually driving it.

You leave with a clear answer about what’s causing your pain and a specific recovery plan. When appropriate, the first session of treatment uses the RX2600 robotic therapy system, manual therapy, or dry needling. No guessing, no generic protocol, and no insurance constraints on what we can deliver.

Who we serve

Active adults across Oakland County.

We work with active adults from Lake Orion, Clarkston, Oxford, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Metamora, Goodrich, Lapeer, and the surrounding Oakland and Lapeer County communities.

Who walks through our doors spans every active-adult profile this corridor produces: golfers from Oakhurst and Indianwood, distance runners off the Paint Creek and Polly Ann Trail systems, lifters and strength athletes from area gyms, combat athletes from BJJ and MMA programs across Auburn Hills and Troy, high school and collegiate athletes, post-surgical recovery cases, and chronic-pain cases that have cycled through insurance-based PT without resolution. The kinetic chain framework is the common thread across all of them. Assess the whole body, find the actual cause, treat the link that’s failing.

Downtown Lake Orion

Why this location.

Downtown Lake Orion sits at the meeting point of two things that mattered when we chose the building: the M-24 corridor and the Lake Orion lakefront. M-24 is the spine that runs from Pontiac in the south through Auburn Hills, Lake Orion, Oxford, Metamora, and up to Lapeer. The highway that connects every city we serve. The lakefront, the historic Broadway and Flint Street districts, and the seasonal events Lake Orion runs year-round (Dragon Festival, Lighted Boat Parade, Holly-Day Parade) make downtown a destination, not just a commute through.

For active adults in northern Oakland County, the practical advantage is location-plus-parking. Most insurance-based outpatient PT in the area is housed inside hospital systems with multi-floor buildings and shared parking lots. We’re ground-level, single-suite, with reserved client parking steps from the door. A different kind of clinical experience from the moment you arrive.
