Corrective Exercise and Movement Training
Corrective exercise and movement training is the prescribed work we send you home with after every session. Personalized exercises that strengthen the targeted areas, correct your specific compensation patterns, and lock in the changes we made in clinic so they last.
How it works
After the kinetic chain assessment identifies your compensation pattern, we design a corrective exercise plan around it. Drills, mobility work, and movement-pattern training that target your specific weak links. Each exercise is matched to your sport or daily life so it carries over. Sessions in clinic teach you the protocol; the work between sessions is what makes it stick.
Why it works
- Personalized to the specific compensation pattern we found in your assessment
- Sport-and-life specific. Drills that translate to what you actually do
- Locks in the gains the manual and modality work created
- Addresses the root cause of the pattern, not just the symptom
Corrective exercise is the work that makes everything else last. The RX2600 releases tissue, manual therapy clears restrictions, dry needling resets trigger points. But if the underlying movement pattern doesn’t change, the body returns to its old compensation within weeks.
The corrective protocol we build is what changes the pattern. It targets the specific link in your kinetic chain that was breaking down, retrains the loading sequence your body should be using, and translates directly to the sports and daily activities you came in for.
This is the difference between treatment that resolves your pain for a few weeks and treatment that resolves it for good.
Conditions we treat with this
Where it shows up.
Back Pain
Most back pain isn’t a back problem. It’s a hip, an ankle, or a thoracic spine that stopped moving.
Read moreNeck Pain
Pain in the neck usually starts upstream. At the shoulders, the thoracic spine, or how you load your jaw.
Read moreShoulder Pain
Shoulder pain that comes back after every fix usually starts at the thoracic spine, not the joint itself.
Read moreHip Pain
Your hip might be reacting to what your ankle isn’t doing. We trace it back to find the actual source.
Read moreKnee Pain
Knees show up where hips and ankles fail. We assess the whole chain. Not just the joint that’s complaining.

Acute or chronic. We get you back to the field, court, or course faster than passive rehab will.

Heel pain isn’t a foot problem. It’s how your hip, knee, and ankle are loading the ground.

If a muscle keeps tightening up, the cause is somewhere else. We find what your body is protecting.

What people ask.
How is this different from a generic stretching program or YouTube routine?
Generic mobility programs apply the same exercises to everyone. Corrective work at TPL is built from your specific kinetic chain assessment. Addressing the compensation pattern your body actually has, not the average pattern.
How often do I need to do these exercises?
Most plans run 10 to 20 minutes a day. Daily consistency matters more than session length. The exact prescription depends on what your assessment found and how compensatory the pattern is.
Can my personal trainer or strength coach handle this?
Often, yes. Once the corrective protocol is established. We send your trainer or coach the assessment findings and the prescribed work so they can build training around what we’re unlocking. The kinetic chain assessment and protocol design stay with us; the daily execution can live wherever you train.
